LOVE my SLYK shades. Being an artist, I delight in finding unique and original pieces, made by fellow creators. We must support and encourage each other s' success and creative brilliance! I love the Perlemoen ( South African name for the Abalone) rim and the wooden frame. LOVE the colour of the blue and how it shimmers in the light. I feel sexy and fun when Im wearing them! The beautiful quote on the frame, the gorgeous mermaid stickers and the thoughtful packaging all adds to the charm of the product. LOVE the fact that it also a product that is kind to our planet. My first pair of Mermaids were a gift from my adult sons a couple of years ago. A coworker accidentally broke them (have kept them for spare parts lol!) I promptly ordered a second pair. A month ago my car was ransacked and they were the only thing stolen out of my car. I guess the thief has good taste, at least. So of course I had to order a third pair. This time I tried the green lenses. These glasses are awesome and the company is great.

I bought mermaid wood/abalone sunglasses. When they came I was disappointed that they did not look good on me. I asked for return and refund. My request was granted. I then found a different pair which I absolutely love! So light, comfortable and beautiful!

The violet Mermaids are SO beautiful, well-made, and fit my face well. As someone who doesn’t typically splurge on shades, I’m very pleased with these, taking extra care to keep these in my car and enjoying them immensely while driving! 🧜🏽‍♀️💜

The owner of this company hand writes notes on all orders. Their customer service is beyond amazing. I exclusively wear this brand. No plastic used in the frames, great sun coverage and they are comfortable. I get compliments everywhere about the unusual abalone material and always tell them about this brand.
