I teach swimming, mermaiding, and freediving on a caribbean island, so sunglasses are part of my work uniform. That means I spend many hours wearing them on my face and/or on my head. These glasses I wore all day comfortably and not once felt pressure on my head behind my ears. I have received a compliment on them every single time I’ve walked out the door w them on, and I just LOVE the fact that I am seeing the world thru a violet lens...literally!

This is an amazingly beautiful/ classy watch and unlike any other watch I own. My boyfriend got it for me for my birthday and i love it. I have really thin wrist and the fact that the wrist has easy adjustable features to it is even more amazing. It's a great feature because whether you lose weight or gain weight it will still fit.

Everyone, you MUST buy this watch for a graduate, girlfriend, or wife before they sell out. It is elegant, beautiful, and the face of the watch has such a nice luster from the beautiful mother of pearl. the 12 o'clock marker is the anchor - an anchor is something that grounds one in oneself – in mind and body. The band has a triple lock system to prevent accidental slipping off the wrist (particularly in cold New England winters with heavy sweaters and coats). I have owned a Movado, Seiko, and other expensive watches, and this by far, is the most elegant one by far. The price is such a steal. Each watch has a special inscription on the back of the watch as do all of the SLYK sunglasses.

I have bought at least 60 mermaid distance bracelets. Everywhere I go, I take them off my wrist and give to strangers around the world I have met in my travels who have become friends. I always have a few sets in my tote in the event I run into an old friend to give these pretty bracelets. To see one smile putting them on, is such a reward for me. The blue and white mermaid beads literally glow and illuminate in the sunlight. Each has a center bead that is made of abalone shell. Abalone shell has a healing property to give a sense of calmness and is said to enhance feelings of peace, compassion and love. It has a warm, gentle vibration. It is great in times of tough emotional issues, and soothing the nerves.

I've also purchased 12-15 jade mental health well-being bracelets. These are real jade beads and are gorgeous. There is a small green ribbon to represent and promote mental wellness. Jade is a symbol of serenity and purity. It signifies wisdom gathered in tranquility. It increases love and nurturing. A protective stone, Jade keeps the wearer from harm and brings harmony. Jade attracts good luck and friendship. It stabilizes the personality and promotes self-sufficiency. Soothes the mind, releasing negative thoughts. Stimulates ideas. A “dream stone”, Jade brings insightful dreams. It aids emotional release, especially of irritability. For far too long, mental health and addiction were taboo, but I disagree.

SLYK's sunglasses are fantastic. They are all polarized and so stylish. I have bought three pairs of the abalone shell sunglasses. Each pair has a different inscribed inspirational message. All of the sunglasses (no matter which style you choose) are made of wood. For each pair of sunglasses sold, a portion of the sale proceeds replants trees, again paying it forward to Mother Earth.
